Artist Anne Mimi Sammis, well known for her uplifting bronze sculptures and watercolors will exhibit for the first time with her daughter, Brooklyn’s Anne Patterson. Patterson’s large-scale ribbon installations have been shown in the US and Europe.

MPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THOSE ATTENDING TODAY’S MOTHER +DAUGHTER OPEN HOUSE:
Masks MUST be worn INSIDE the gallery by ALL VISITORS. This includes those who are vaccinated- there are no exceptions. Twelve visitors at a time will be allowed inside the gallery for a short visit to look at the artwork and say hello to the artists. There is a courtyard in front of the gallery and guests may wait there until there is room in the gallery for more guests. If you cannot socially distance outside, please wear your mask outside as well.

Also, we recommend parking at the Newport Visitors Center if you will need parking past 5:00pm. If you park on the street, Newport resident sticker parking begins at 6:00pm and cars without stickers may be ticketed.
