Although the term “the fairer sex” is considered dated due to its emphasis on the physical appearance of women, Jessica Hagen presents, with a wink, an exhibition that showcases sculpture, paintings, jewelry, textiles, ceramics and photography by twenty-plus contemporary female artists working in the United States. “I have always wanted to have an all-women’s show, and given the events of the last year and a half, from the women’s march to the #metoo movement, it seemed like the time was definitely right to host this exhibition,” states gallery owner Jessica Hagen. Women artists represent one half of Jessica Hagen’s roster, a positive statistic in a field where men often outnumber women.

This exhibition will run from July 22nd to August 19th.
